MAIELLA JACKET

An oversized reversible jacket made from a reclaimed woven blanket.

The original textile is preserved and reworked with raw seams and hand-frayed edges, allowing loose threads and irregularities to remain visible.

The jacket can be worn on both sides, revealing two different interpretations of the same textile.

Oversized volume with a shorter front and longer back.
Large wrapped collar.
Front wooden button closure.
Patch pockets.

Each piece is made individually from an existing blanket.
Pattern placement and small irregularities may therefore vary from piece to piece.
