Ometto Plate
From the I Mammoccetti di Castelli Collection
Edition 01 — Ometto
Castelli, Abruzzo
Handcrafted in Italy
A versatile ceramic plate that can be used as a serving platter, charger plate, or displayed as a decorative wall piece. Its clean circular form combines understated elegance with a playful and distinctive character.
Handcrafted in glazed ceramic with a warm beige finish, each piece is decorated using a combination of hand-painted techniques and grey and black decals. The illustration depicts Ometto, a figure inspired by one of the carved decorative motifs found on the roof tiles of the Cathedral of San Donato in Castelli (Teramo), reinterpreting a fragment of Abruzzo's artistic heritage in a contemporary way.
Diameter: 28 cm
